We just interviewed filmmaking duo John Fallon and Marc Natoli this morning on our Radio NL 610 AM Morning Show segment, where they talked The Proposal and the upcoming Heretic and The Siege of Robin Hood. But it looks like the two collaborators aren't finished yet.
Fallon announced via Twitter that Natoli has signed on to play Davies in Heretic, a medieval action/drama starring Paul Sloan and Mark Lawson. Fallon co-wrote the script and directs.
Natoli has received much acclaim for his lead turn in the action short The Proposal, which Fallon wrote in the spirit of 80s and 90s action/martial flicks. Natoli is himself an actor and accomplished martial artist.
This is great news for Heretic, which is set to start filming in March. Natoli has a great screen presence and physicality, which he will bring to the role.
The film is about a pair of Templar Knights (Sloan and Lawson) who must fight dangerous enemies, as well as themselves, as they return home from the Crusades.
