You have 16 seconds to watch this new Equalizer trailer

The only movie I'm jonesed enough to see in theatres for the remainder of the year is The Equalizer . I was a huge fan of 80s TV series , am a huge Denzel Washington fan, I dig Antoine Fuqua as a director and every word I've heard about the flick so far has been positive. Can't say that about most movies can you. Not a question. A fact.

Old habits die hard in the full Equalizer trailer

Seems like just yesterday that Sony released the first, action-packed trailer for  Denzel Washington 's new flick The Equalizer . Well, the studio has unleashed another look at this adaptation of the 1980s TV show , and it's really something else. Yup, there's less action on display here, but we get more of a feel for the story and the elements which, I am sure, have test audiences going gaga for this flick.

New pics from Denzel Washington's The Equalizer

While some might scoff at Denzel Washington taking on the mantel of The Equalizer , first portrayed by the great -- and very British --  Edward Woodward in the 1980s TV series , I'm all for it. Why? It's Denzel Washington, dammit. The man does no wrong. The flick, directed by Denzel's Training Day partner Antione Fuqua, doesn't hit until Sept. 26, but we've scored some new images from the movie thanks to the fine folks at USA Today .

Sequel to The Equalizer in the works

Bet you didn't know the popular 80s TV series The Equalizer was being made into a movie. Well, you might have. I shouldn't make an assumption like that, because then I make an ass of you and numption. But The Equalizer will indeed hit the big screen this September, with Denzel Washington in the title role and his Training Day director Antoine Fuqua behind the camera. This alone gives me hope.
