When I hear of a movie called Parasite from the guy who made The Host, I expect one thing. Having just watched the trailer, I did not get what I expected. At all.
No monsters, at least in those couple of minutes. But it does look like a film that will be intense, funny and has something to say about class. Given it won the Palme d-Or at Cannes, Parasite is not crap.
All the praise spread throughout the preview also cements this is probably a must see for any true cinephile.
Give it a watch:
Parasite screens at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, and opens in U.S. and Canadian theatres Oct. 11.
