Alexandra Daddario is no stranger to genre films, having survived Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw 3D and a giant earthquake in San Andreas. But can she survive a group of Satanists?
Her new flick, We Summon the Darkness, was just acquired by Saban Films for a December theatrical and VOD release, and it sounds like it holds some promise.
In the film, Daddario and two friends embark on a road trip to a heavy metal concert. Naive, they end up bonding with three seemingly friendly guys, and end up at an afterparty. Naturally, what should be a night of fun takes a dark and deadly turn... because that's what happens in these movies.
Here's a promotional poster for the flick:
I dig Daddario (say that three times fast) and will likely give this a watch. What say you?
We Summon the Darkness is directed by Marc Meyers, and hits Dec. 13.
