It's a big weekend at the box office, with no fewer than four movies competing for your dollar, and Jason and Howie are ready, willing and able to throw down on what to watch as We Came from the Basement returns to the Radio NL 610 AM Morning Show.
But they aren't just talking movies, as Netflix debuts a limited series based on the classic Shirley Jackson novel The Haunting of Hill House, and Taylor Swift is now liked 25 per cent less by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Oh, and that really popular show Making of a Murderer is back for another season. Jason will share the skinny on that too.
Movie wise, though: Ryan Gosling re-teams with his La La Land director for First Man, about NASA's efforts to put a man on the moon, Jack Black is back as author R.L. Stine for the spooky sequel Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Jeff Bridges and Chris Hemsworth team for the twisty thriller Bad Times at the El Royale, and Steven Carell and Timothy Chaimet headline the powerful drama Beautiful Boy.
That's a lot of watching. What's worth checking out and what isn't? Tune in at about 8:40 a.m. on the 610 AM dial, or via the Radio NL player to your right. And, as always, Mike S tweets along to it all at @CameTheBasement.
