Almost Human, American Muscle and Rachel Faulkner

The Basement is back for this, its sixth season of movie reviews, news and interviews designed to pleasure your ear holes. You'll enjoy it, trust us.

First up is the sci-fi/horror flick Almost Human, writer/director Joe Begos' throwback to 80s terror. What's it about? Alien abduction, violent murders and a plot to take over the world. Is it as much fun as it sounds? Stick with us!

Then stick around for American Muscle, an action/revenge flick written by Basement bro John Fallon. In the flick John Falcon -- hey, wait a minute -- does 10 years hard time in prison. Once out, he has 24 hours to get revenge on those who put him there. John also appears in the film as a dude named Tongues.

When Jason and Shawn aren't reviewing flicks, they chat with Maxim model and Hillbilly Horror Show star Rachel Faulkner, who spills the beans on the popular Internet series, her role in Jon Favreau's Chef, and what it takes to pursue your dreams. It's a great conversation with a talented and beautiful lady.
