Mike S tweets to Dirty Harry

Every Friday night our mad twit Mike S from the Corner of Terror will shanghai The Basement's Twitter account and tweet along to a non-horror movie, all for your Internet pleasure. Cool, yes!?! We think so.

On Feb. 1 he popped in the 1971 Clint Eastwood classic, Dirty Harry. Below are the wit and witticisms that made up his tweets. Enjoy!

Mike S is signed in, and ready to tweet along to "Dirty Harry" (1971)- won't you join us?

Nothing like starting a movie off with a sniper rifle pointed at the camera...

That chin... that hair... that squint behind those sunglasses... Clint Eastwood...

: The killer is asking for only $100,000.00 not to kill again. Today it'd be a few million.

"There's a madman loose..." I wonder how many movies have actually used that line.
:"When a naked man's chasing a woman down an alley with a knife & a hard on- he's not collecting for the Red Cross."

I love the shot at 13:39. Just a classic pic of and his firearm.

The "Do You Feel Lucky, Punk?" scene still is a joy to watch...

"What's wrong with the partner I've got?" "Nothing- except he's in the hospital."

: If you're going to assassinate someone- make sure your shoes are polished nicely.

The expression on Scorpio's face at 23:16 is hilarious... like a calf trying to get at an udder...

: "I just had a thought about," (looks at window where naked woman was) "why they call you ."

: "I just had a thought about," (looks at window where naked woman was) "why they call you ."

Make the guy sick, then haul him onto the crane, and punch him... That's style right there!

That's right - check out the cutie in the black bra and panties while using binoculars to look for Scorpio...

Is letting play delivery man for Scorpio's money a wise thing to do? Hell yeah!

1971: An era when having $200,000.00 could be considered being rich...

Ohhhh... Scorpio just called "stupid"! Not smart Scorpio- not smart at all...

I'd hate to be running around in the suit 's wearing.

He's running all over San Fran, and his hair is still perfect!

Aaand a man from the bushes has just offered to take a "dare" from ...

56:51 is a great shot of running up to a huge concrete cross in the park. Great use of light and shadow

: "Let's see the gun. My... that's a big one"...

I guess Scorpio has a right to beat up - after all Harry DID shoot at him several times...

By saying he's going to let the girl die, Scorpio has just signed his death warrant.

Wow... Scorpio wails like a wounded walrus when stabbed in the leg... hurt my ears...

Uh oh, Scorpio! has your description... he's gonna get you, Scorpio! He's gonna get you!

1:05:54 is a great example of "Crazy Eyes"- the shadows and the blue eyes really make it good.

(In best Forrest Gump voice) "Run Scorpio... Run!"

Typical scumbag criminal- Whining about having rights when they've buried a girl alive. What about her rights, punk?

I have but one thing to say about the camera movement at 1:10:00... AWESOME!

Ugh, that's a really ugly belt buckle, Scorpio... real ugly... But it's okay... you'll be dead soon...

It wouldn't be a proper 1970's movie without some boobage... and there's some nice ones on the bed dancer...

Gee Scorpio, your face now matches your belt buckle... butt ugly...

Why do you keep being a cop, ? Because you're , that's why!

Oooooh, Scorpio. Hijacking a school bus... a bullet's waiting for you... hand delivered personally by

The mayor promised that nobody will "molest" Scorpio in exchange for the bus of kids- then offers the job of carrying the money.

Awww... How sweet- the tunnel entrances are painted to look like rainbows...

Wrong way to get kids to sing... threaten to kill their mothers...

OMG- The shot of on the train bridge waiting for Scopio and the bus reminds me of The Man With No Name for some reason...

You can run Scorpio... but you can not hide from...

Scorpio was not a lucky punk...

With the shot of walking away, the movie ends- and does does this tweet along.

How would I rate, ? I'm giving it a Good!
