Debunkers, Inc in The Basement

Debunkers, Inc is a fun little film I didn't expect to enjoy, but really did. Its success rests solely on the capable cast, who take a quirky concept, and off-beat humour, and run with it.

Today, I got to chat with two of the film's stars, Nicole DeBois and Blake Kevin Dwyer, who play Sheik and Doc respectfully.

That's the two of them on the right. They're a talented and witty duo.

This was Nicole and Blake's first feature film, and it's been landing some pretty solid word of mouth. We discuss what it's like to star in a low-budget movie, how Debunkers, Inc came together, and what it was like building such a fine chemistry amongst the cast.

Nicole, Blake and I had a lot of fun, and I'm sure it'll shine through during our feature interview, which you get to hear on the Sept. 20 edition of From The Basement.
