Captain Marvel... that is all

There's only one movie hitting theatres this weekend, and it's expected to be a doozy. That's right the 20th -- count 'em 20th -- entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe hits today: Captain Marvel.

Captain Marvel is the first Marvel movie with a female hero front and centre. This has, for reasons that continue to mystify us here in The Basement, angered many white males, especially those lacking in self esteem... which seems like pretty much all of them.

That being said, Captain Marvel is poised to open huge, and push star Brie Larson even further onto the Hollywood A-list. What more can be said? Let Jason, Shawn and Howie say it today on the Radio NL 610 AM Morning Show.

The Terrible Trio will also talk the weeks begin entertainment news, including the deaths of icons Luke Perry and King Kong Bundy, and bring you up to speed on what to watch at home.
