Truth be told, the reality of a Captain Marvel movie had me at Brie Larson. She's a damn fine actress who's already proven her worth in a big-budget blockbuster (Kong: Skull Island) and looks the part of superhero. Period.
Note the lack of anything sexist in the above paragraph . . .
The first Captain Marvel trailer was decent. This one has me completely hooked in anticipation of the flick's debut next spring. My wife agrees, and she watched the trailer without sound. That says something.
I listened with sound, and now we present the trailer to you, also with sound:
Larson is joined by a very young looking Samuel L. Jackson, and Jude Law, who looks as old as he is now. Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and opens March 8, 2019.
