The Basement extended cuts

It's been a great ride these last couple of weeks, as Shawn and I have found our feet at Radio NL 610 AM Kamloops and eased into the new format, as per the request of the Powers That Be at the station.

However, it seems not everyone is pleased with the changes made at the behest of our new home, as some long-time fans have complained the segments are too short, and they don't like the fact we're talking alongside NL Morning Show hosts Howie and Shane.

The people spoke, and Shawn and I have listened!

Starting with Friday's edition, the podcast version of our NL Morning Show segment will be an extended cut, with extra material included to appease our fans who have stuck with us during our many incarnations.

Essentially, there will be more Jason and Shawn around the radio piece, as we elaborate on what we say on the air, and riff on other material. When we land interviews, and a few are in the works, we'll play the entire thing on the podcast, where the radio audience will get a few key moments.

We think this is a great way to appeal to our new listeners on the mighty NL, and play to our long-time fans. We're giving people the best of both worlds.

Thanks to everyone for your time and feedback. It's much appreciated. Stick with us!

Review: The Proposal (2018)

"Admit it: that was cool as fuck."

Star Marc Natoli says that line about half way through the action short The Proposal, and there's no better way to sum the film up. Although just 10 or so minutes long, The Proposal is everything an action fan could ask for.

In fact, the only complaint I've got is I wanted more!

Millennium After the Millennium, Mission: Impossible - Fallout and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies

Aside from having the longest episode title in Basement history, the latest entry in our eight-year-long series also marks the first time Shawn has not appeared on the show!

Yup, no Shawn for you! He's on vacation.

But the Mad Twit Mike S sits down with Jason for this, the extended cut of Friday's segment on the mighty Radio NL 610 AM Kamloops, featuring an interview with filmmakers Troy Foreman and Jason Morris about their documentary Millennium After the Millennium.
