Hot chicks. Action. What more needs to be said about an all-female action film starring some of the hottest action chicks of all time?
The project was pitched when Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables took off a few years back. Now The ExpendaBelles is ready to move forward as a director and plot synopsis hit the interwebs.
Robert Luketic has signed on to helm the flick, which is in development at Millennium Films. Legally Blonde screenwriters Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah are working on the script. As for the logline? Check it:
When America’s Navy SEALs are wiped out trying to penetrate the island
lair of a deadly despot who has captured one of the world’s top nuclear
scientists, it becomes clear that there is no such thing as the right
man for the job and that this is a mission so impossible that only women
can handle it. The only way in: some of the world’s deadliest female
operatives must pose as high-class call-girls shipped in by private
plane to satisfy a dictator–and instead save the scientist and the day.
Reads like a good porno too. For the record.
As cheesy as all this sounds, I'm on board. The Basement is all about hot chicks and action. This combines both perfectly.
Who'd you like to see as an ExpendaBelle? I'm down for Milla Jovovitch, Carrie-Anne Moss and Kate Beckinsale (pictured).
