Absentia director reflects evil in Oculus
All stupidity on my part aside, this preview for director Mike Flanagan's Oculus is pretty scary. This doesn't surprise me because Flanagan made the utterly creepy Absentia, which we reviewed on the show a couple of season's back. It's nice to see the man getting a shot at the big time with this Blumhouse release.
Yeah, this is from the company that produced Paranormal Activity and Insidious. A few more notches in the flick's favour.
Here's the trailer:
You like? We like. What's it about? A woman tries to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder, by proving the crime was committed by a supernatural phenomenon.
Oculus stars Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites and Battlestar: Galactica hottie Katee Sackhoff. It hits theatres April 11.
