Like Nero said in a deleted scene from J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot, "The wait is over." How's that for random geek porn!?!
But the wait IS over, as Jason and Shawn sound off on their Month from Hell entry 6 Degrees of Hell. That's right, the Basement Dwellers have finally watched the alleged Scariest Movie of 2012 starring THAT Corey Feldman. The question now is how does a film that the duo hyped sight unseen stack up? Stick with us!
Then, submitted for the approval of the Basement Dwellers by writer/director Elias, is Gut -- a psychological thriller about two friends who become addicted to a snuff film. Some have called Gut slow and too subtle, others have praised it for being a low-budget movie with depth. Now it's time for Jason and Shawn to give their two cents.
Plus Mike S. takes a break from being The Basement's official twit to provide tonight's episode with a movie review of his own. This time he turns his sites on the horror sequel Urban Legends: Final Cut. He's watched it once and hated it. Is the second time the charm, or just another excuse to drink beer?
So tune in at 10 p.m. PST at 92.5FM CFBX Kamloops and online at www.thex.ca. You can also follow along to the mad tweets of Mike S of The Corner of Terror on Twitter! Because there really is nothing better to do on a Thursday night at 10 p.m.
Now for some previews, mofos!
