Latest Looper poster a work of art

Literally, it's a piece of art. No photoshop, no superimposed heads -- this is a nice, drawn/painted poster. Classy!

Which is what the word is on writer/director Rian (Brick) Johnson's film. It sits at 96-per-cent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, which is no small feat. The sci-fi/action flick sounds like something special. And, with a cast that includes Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt, us movie geeks are likely in for a real treat.

In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self.

Now, check out the poster by way of the boys at! Looper opens next Friday.

  1. Remember when pretty much ALL movie posters were painted/drawn? Maybe you could do an an article about your top ten movie posters... and top ten worst ones...

But this is just a beautiful piece of work. I would have no problem framing and putting on my wall.

  2. That's a wicked idea Mr. S! Stay tuned. And me two. Will track this one down for The Basement!
