Trailer Alert: The Amityville Haunting

A couple of months ago we told you about four, count 'em FOUR, Amityville movies being readied to haunt theatres. The trailer has arrived for one of them.

The Amityville Haunting comes from those whacky folks at The Asylum and is yet another found-footage film, this time set in the famous Amityville house. It's loosely based on the alleged true story of the Lutz family, who experienced paranormal activity after moving into the Long Island house where Ronald DeFeo Jr. murdered six members of his family.

As for the preview? It doesn't show a lot. But it's an Asylum movie, which means it could be really dumb, really fun, or a combination of the two. Judge for yourself. The film hits DVD on Dec. 13.

    oohh what the hell.. The storie is weired it really doesn´t make any sence right now.. He said he was "bezeten". Also the ghost in the house. The pictures doesn´t convice me because you can´t see that it is really something. Except one of the pics does look like one on 5:37, it does look like a human sitting in a chair. You can also see a face if you look very good. I don´t get something, always if i go to a "haunted"house i make pictures but there are never ghosts on it. But there are lots of people who can make pictures with ghosts, Why can some people make such a pictures? I have a good photocamera..Sometimes i think the houses aren´t haunted it´s just that people are sure that the house is haunted because of all the things that happend in the places.. but that doesn´t mean that the place is haunted. I think they have to send some real ghost hunters over there who are really serious about it
