There's four new movies heading to theatres this weekend, but only one is expected to blow up at the box office, and even that is questionable.
Which movie is that, you might ask? That's something Jason and Howie intend to answer when From The Basement's FINAL weekly segment on the Radio NL 610 AM Morning News hits the airwaves at 8:40 this morning.
The big movie of the weekend is destined to be Terminator: Dark Fate, but even then it's looking at $35 to $45 million during the three days. That's OK, but not huge. Not the kind of huge that marked the franchise's -- or Arnold Schwarzenegger's -- heyday.
But it will still fair better than the animated Arctic Cats, slavery drama Harriet and 50s detective flick Motherless Brooklyn. Joker is expected to top all three, and it's been out a month now.
Not interested in any of those options? Jason and Howie have the rundown on what's worth watching on TV -- including the streaming options on Apple TV Plus, which hits today, what's new on VOD, and some entertainment news to tickle your fancy.
So tune in via the AM dial, or the player to your right.
And tune in next Friday, Nov 8, at 6 p.m. as From The Basement becomes a weekly, prime-time show on Radio NL!
