The Big Lebowski is one of the Coen Brothers' best films. Period. Hands down. Bar none. And a HUGE part of the film's success is due to Jeff Bridges' iconic turn as The Dude, that White-Russian slurping, perpetually stoned bowler.
Granted, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and John Turturro are also amazing, but The Dude is, well The Dude, man.
Jeff Bridges debuted a video on his Twitter account today hinting at The Dude's return on 2.3.19. You can check out the video for yourselves right here:
So, us movie-media types are guessing Bridges and The Dude will appear in a Super Bowl commercial. It just makes sense, given the Super Bowl takes place on 2.3.19.
Obviously, we'll all have to stay tuned, as The Dude says, and see for ourselves. Regardless of what's what, it's great seeing Bridges in character again.
