The low-budget vigilante flick Death Kiss has been on our radar for some time. Why? Well, it's an action movie for one, and we're all about that in The Basement.
But the main reason is because it stars a dude named Robert Kovacs, and he bares a striking resemblance to one of the most iconic action heroes of all time -- Charles Bronson. Take a look at the above pic and tell me if I'm wrong.
Didn't think I was.
Kovacs plays the lead in Death Kiss, which I'm well aware has a certain ring to it. Death Wish, Death Kiss. Yup. And he's a mysterious vigilante who comes to a crime-infested town to take the law into his own hands, at the same time protecting a young mother and her child.
Sounds like something Chuck would have made. Check out the trailer:
Death Kiss was written and directed by Rene Perez in the style of the Cannon Films of the 80s. It does look like a lot of fun, and is probably something we'll check out when the fine folks at Uncork'd Entertainment unleash this beast next week.
