Wolf Cop headed to a Canadian theatre near you

It's been almost a year to the day since we first told you about the genre hybrid Wolf Cop. Yup, this is a movie about a werewolf that's a cop, and it's a comedy. So it's a werewolf/action/comedy. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You can read our original piece on Wolf Cop right here. And, if you're living in the True North Strong and Free like Shawn and I, you'll have a chance to see writer/director Lowell Dean's movie later this spring.

Wolf Cop gets a limited theatrical release on June 6, and anyone lucky enough to have a CiniplexMovies theatre in their hood can check this bad boy out. We do, so odds are The Basement will put Wolf Cop on the chopping block.

What's it about? It's not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar, Lou's senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he's a rage-fueled werewolf.
