The ball is back again; time for more Phantasm

Although not the biggest fan of Don Coscarelli's Phantasm series -- I admit I've only seen the first two film -- I do have a lot of love for the man's work in general. Bubba-Ho-Tep and John Dies at the End are just brilliant.

The Beastmaster? It owned when I was 10, but can't vouch for how it's held up.

Word hit today that a fifth film in the Phantasm series is in development. And the folks at Ain't It Cool News scored an exclusive look at the poster, which we promptly stole.

Neat!

No word on what this Phantasm: Ravager is about. Is Coscarelli back? He better be. How about Angus Scrimm as The Tall Man? Hope so. Apparently more news is coming, and coming soon. We'll keep you posted.

Now I gotta get my ass together and give the whole series a viewing . . .
