Production wraps on Utero starring Jessica Cameron

Seems like just yesterday we told Basementites filming had begun on scream queen Jessica Cameron's baby themed horror flick Utero.

But an email arrived in The Basement this morning letting us know principle photography on writer/director Bryan Coyne's flick is complete. The entire movie was shot in Los Angeles.

Here's what Coyne had to say:

"Shooting Utero was a dream come true for me. Like any filmmaking experience, it was a grandiose challenge. But the commitment of our crew and cast, a wonderful commune of pure artists, helped me achieve something astoundingly effective. I can't wait for this film to be seen."

What does Jessica think about the project so far?

"I could not be more thrilled with the amazing production that has been Utero. The story, camerawork, and lighting is all so impressive and fresh. I cannot wait to share this with audiences!"

Described as a character-driven horror film, Utero is about an agoraphobic, unwed mother who finds her psyche unraveling as she becomes convinced her unborn child is more monster than human.
