Yes, Shawn and I reviewed this little horror flick -- one of the first starring roles for genre vet and all-around hot chick Amber Heard -- way back on Season One. Like, you know, in 2010 or something.
The truth is All the Boys Love Mandy Lane premiered SEVEN years ago at the Toronto International Film Festival and it's never received an official release . . . until now.
Harvey and Bob Weinstein unveil Jonathan Levine's flick on VOD Sept. 6 and in theatres Oct. 11. That's right, this was made by the dude who made The Wackness and Warm Bodies before he made The Wackness and Warm Bodies.
In my mind, this is good news. I dug All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. Shawn, not so much. But I think most horror fans are in for a low-budget treat. Worth the watch.
Now check out this new trailer for the flick.
