Will Vince Vaughn join Colin Farrell for True Detective?

That seems to be the latest news surrounding the second season of HBO's acclaimed cop show True Detective , which means the much rumoured about all-female cast was just that -- a rumour. Girl's Eye View: Savages

Allow me to quickly introduce myself: My name is Kara, and I live over at www.karaschatter.com . I have no experience in the movie industry, other than watching and appreciating them. I thought I would offer up my movie reviewing skills, or lack thereof, to The Basement to give readers a female perspective on movies, new, old, good, and bad.  After watching Blake Lively play a totally believable oxy addict in The Town , I was looking forward to watching her switch things over and playing a stoned-out hippie child named O in Savages. I'm not going to sit here and rip the script, actors, characters or stuff.  This movie wasn't designed with Academy Awards in mind. Even though Liam Neeson was in it.  It wasn't designed to be complex, in fact, where there were cliché moments, it was likely on purpose. Yes, the ending brings a lot of Hollywood cheese.  Whoopty doo.  I've seen far worse cheese, get called award winning. This movie was a long one too.  2 hrs 11 minutes or so.  It seemed to be able to carry me ...
