The Pact 2 trailer delivers

OK, I admit I didn't have high hopes for The Pact 2, given the first flick was one of the finest, self-contained horror movies I've seen in a long time. But I'm beginning to change my tune now that I've seen the trailer for Patrick Horvath's sequel. We don't apologize in The Basement, but we do admit we're wrong on rare occasions.

Spooky thriller The Pact gets a sequel

The Pact was hands down one of the best movies of last year. Don't believe me? Read my review , bitches! Done? Good. Suffice to say, I'm actually excited about a follow up to writer/director Nicolas McCarthy's indie flick. The Pact 2 will be written by Dallas Hallam and directed by Patrick Horvath. The duo apparently made a movie called Entrance that debuted at the L.A. Film Festival in 2011. Never heard of it. Will have to seek it out. The Pact 2 picks up a few weeks after the events of the original, following a woman whose carefully constructed life begins to unravel due to nightmares that disturb her waking life. No word yet on when cameras roll, but stick with us! We'll keep you in the loop. And if you haven't seen The Pact, seek it out. Well worth the watch.
