Arnold is looking . . . old in this latest Terminator image

The second day of filming just wrapped on the new Terminator movie , which means another pic from the set. Don't worry, we're not going to hit you with new pics every day . . . unless we feel like it that is. Although excited about the prospect of a new Terminator movie starring  Arnold Schwarzenegger , it must be said the former governator is starting to show his age.

Jason versus The Last Stand

Arnold said he'd be back, and the Austrian Oak told no lies. Welcome back, King of the Action Movie ! The leader of a drug cartel busts out of a courthouse and speeds to the Mexican border , where the only thing in his path is a sheriff and his inexperienced staff. The Last Stand works on a lot of levels. Most importantly, it's a lot of fun. This is a breezy hour and 40 minutes of violent action, weird humour and surprising moments of drama. You read that last part right.  There's drama in an action movie. Deal with it. Not all of it is on Arnold Schwarzenegger's shoulders either. The Last Stand is as much an ensemble piece as it is a return to glory for Schwarzenegger. The moments when Ah-nold isn't on screen work just as well as when he is thanks to a strong supporting cast that includes Jaimie Alexander , Luis Guzman , Forest Whitaker and Peter Stormare. Director Jee-woon Kim has crafted a well-rounded flick, and it succeeds because of that. But w...

"What are we? F@#king Vikings?" A clip from Stallone's Bullet to the Head

A long headline, I know. But I couldn't resist. Love that line. Love it! We're uber excited in The Basement that Sylvester Stallone 's latest effort, Bullet to the Head , finally hit theatres today. And we hope audiences are kinder to it than they were to Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand and Jason Statham 's Parker . Lean and mean R-rated action flicks are the only way to go when it comes to the genre. And Sly is one of the founding fathers. Please, Basementites, get out there and support his film. Then go and see The Last Stand and Parker. After watching their respective partners die, a New Orleans hitman and a Washington D.C. detective form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy. Now enjoy this clip. It's got some great profanity, a valid point or two, and then the start of what promises to be an epic throwdown between Stallone and Jason Momoa . Arnold Schwarzenegger will be in Terminator 5

Never mind that no one bothered to go watch Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand this past weekend, the Austrian Oak will return to the franchise that made him a superstar -- The Terminator . We say shame to all of you who ignored The Last Stand, by the way. Shame! Arnold is quoted as saying so during a recent press junket in London for The Last Stand. He also told the media he's scheduled for the Twins sequel, Triplets, and another Conan movie. Even at 65, the man knows how to stay busy. The question now is what role will Schwarzenegger play in the latest Terminator, which is being penned by Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis . Not that it really matters, the man's involvement makes this a must see, Terminator: Salvation be damned.
