Get spooked by The Woman In Black: Angel of Death teaser

That headline is a mouthful really when I stop and think about it. Oh well. What's written is written. But you will get spooked by this teaser trailer for The Woman In Black: Angel of Death, the sequel to the surprise international hit film starring Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe.

Daniel Radcliffe will grown Horns

The Harry Potter star is certainly doing everything within his power to have a career beyond the blockbuster film series that made him a household name. And he's turned to the horror genre to make that happen. And we say good for you, Daniel Radcliffe! First he took the lead in the creepy as hell Hammer production of The Woman in Black and now he's returning to the big screen with an adaptation of Joe Hill's novel Horns, replacing the previously announced Shia LeBeouf. Even more interesting is that Radcliffe will be directed by Alexandre Aja, he who made the brilliant and bloody High Tension and Piranha 3D. He also helmed The Hills Have Eyes remake. Radcliffe will portray the number one suspect in the rape and murder of his girlfriend. He awakens one morning to find horns growing from his head and realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give into impulses. This proves an effective tool in his quest to discover the circumstance behind his lover...

Jason reviews The Woman in Black

There's nothing like a good ghost story, and The Woman in Black is just that. The 1989 British TV adaptation of Susan Hill's horror novel scared the shit out of me, and so does this feature version by director James Watkins and screenwriter Jane Goldman. A scary tale is a scary tale. And what a triumphant return to glory for Hammer Films. This has all the mood, atmosphere and old-school chills one would expect from the classic house of horror. The second act is particularly frightening, with one shorts shitting moment after another. To call it unrelenting would be an understatement. But that's how we like our terror in The Basement -- unrelenting. And kudos to Daniel Radcliffe for erasing all memory of that boy wizard with a great performance here. This is a horror tale for grown ups, and he's more than up for the part. A Good from me.

Guest Review: "The Satanic Rites of Dracula"

Mike S reviews a classic horror film- "The Satanic Rites of Dracula". "When I found out that Hammer Films was alive and well again- and in the process of producing a few new horror films, I started getting a little nostalgic. Growing up, I was a HUGE fan of the Hammer horror films, and have been looking for them on DVD for quite a while. A horror library is not complete without at least one of their films. It was with great pleasure when I found "The Satanic Rites of Dracula" on DVD. I was literally, "geeking out" over it. I felt like a kid opening the biggest present under the Christmas tree. It's sad, but true. I couldn't wait to watch it, but I wanted it to be special. At night, with the lights off... alone. Just me, Dracula, and Van Helsing. And, man, was it worth it. By today's standards, this movie might not be considered great- but for me it was fantastic. This film has the British sensibilities for horror, without relyi...
