Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer heads our way this week

Just hours ago I commented how we now have teasers for trailers. Now I write an article teasing a trailer that's going to tease a movie later this week. Or something like that. I don't know. I just work here... But a trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie is scheduled to drop some time this week, likely later rather than sooner. Oh, and the movie has a title now, and it's Ghostbusters: Afterlife. We know very little about the plot, but the new Ghostbusters does deal with a family that moves back home to a small town. Jason Reitman teases new Ghostbusters movie

It seems like human sacrifices, dogs and cats living together, and other mass hysteria have occurred, as a new Ghostbusters movie -- one that ignores the 2016 remake -- is headed our way in 2020! What do we know about the picture? Not much, other then Jason Reitman (son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Gil Kenan. Reitman stated this is a continuation of the 1984 film.

Ghostbusters returning to theatres

Seeing Ghostbusters for the first time on the big screen during the summer of 1984 is still a vivid memory for this Basementite. I went with my mom, the No. 1 theatre at the Odeon was packed, and people laughed their collective asses off. Believe it or not, that was 30 years ago. To celebrate this milestone, the Bill Murray , Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis vehicle is headed back to the big screen later this sumer.
