Jason and Shawn are back in the Basement studio tonight, and they're bringing one of their favourite interviewees with them! In the spring of 2016, Jason, Shawn and Amy sat down with writer/director Matt Sconce to talk about his then recently completed feature film Altar, a found-footage horror flick.

So it begins, the seventh season of We Came from the Basement, and the first on 92.5 FM CFBX Kamloops in almost three years. And tonight's episode is a good one, especially if you dig horror movies and enjoy insight into the filmmaking process.

In what looks like the lasted, and hopefully the last, in a long line of kids-go-into-the-woods-with-a-video-camera-and-kids-get-dead movies comes Altar, a horror flick written and directed by Stricken's Matthew Sconce. I'm being sarcastic, of course, not having seen Altar. It could be quite good. I hope it is, actually. The world needs more good horror movies. And indie horror is the way to go.
