Friday has rolled around again- which means that it's time again to enjoy a tip and sip...
I must confess that I find this label a little hard on the eyes. The yellow background is pretty bright, and doesn't contrast very will with the silver and white text. I did like the edging- but once again, it's hard to see on the bright background.
Fortunately, the colour of the brew itself isn't has hard on the eyes as the label. I found it to be a nice, soothing golden orange... which makes you wonder why the brew is called "White"... There's a slight haze to it, that created shifting little shadows within the golden drink. Once again, a much more soothing colour than the bottle label.
From start to finish, Dageraad's brew is a nice, subtle, and gentle journey. It's not harsh or bitter- and is quite smooth and mellow in my opinion. Before I knew it, the bottle was actually done- which is rare for a beer, I find.I was quite pleased with it.
Other than the label, the experience with Dageraad White was quite a pleasant one. While I probably won't revisit this one, I would certainly recommend trying it out at least. I'm giving it a "Bad".
