A couple episodes back, Shawn and I discussed the possibility of two Halloween movies hitting theatres in October of 2020, as was the rumour at the time. And we were OK with it.
Now word has hit that Halloween Kills will arrive in October 2020, and Halloween Ends a year later, creating -- and completing -- a new trilogy of films.
This, to me, makes more sense. I love the Halloween movies, and the 2018 reboot was fantastic, but two Halloween movies in one month seemed like overkill. To have them a year apart, works just fine. Remember a new Saw movie every Halloween? Well, a couple Halloweens of Halloween movies makes even more sense.
Here's the announcement trailer. Watch, enjoy, and mark the dates on your calendar.
