Polar trailer promises a chilling revenge tale

What is it with people not letting bad asses enjoy a quiet retirement? I mean, if folks haven't figured it out by watching John Wick, RED, and now this trailer for Netflix's upcoming Polar, no one ever will.

It's simple: leave the reclusive, scary looking dude alone and bad things won't happen to you.

Not so with Polar, which is based on the popular graphic novel Polar: Came from the Cold by Victor Santos. In fact, a whole slew of assassins come after Mads Mikkelsen's retired hitman, only to meet some violent, and rather clever, deaths.

I especially dig me the RC .50 cals. A lot.

This looks great! Mikkelsen is always reliable, and the supporting cast -- which includes Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick and Richard Dreyfuss -- is a solid one. Gonna be checking this out when it drops Jan. 25.
