It's Friday, and that means it's time for Jason and Shawn to join Howie Reimer on the Radio NL 610 AM Morning Show once again.
This week, they're bringing an interview and review with them, along with their thoughts on the big -- as in giant-shark sized -- movie of the week: The Meg!
What's The Meg? It's about a giant, prehistoric shark that surfaces and tries to eat everything, and everyone, in sight. And it stars that other Jason guy. You know? From The Expendables and Transporter movies? Statham is the last name? I think.
Anyway, Jason and Shawn also interview Canadian filmmaking collective RKSS about their new movie, Summer of 84, which hits select theatres today. It's about a group of teens who suspect their cop neighbour may be a serial killer, and is every much the homage to the 1980s that Stranger Things and It were.
You'll hear all this awesomeness at about 8:40 a.m. by tuning into 610 on the AM dial, or following the Radio NL link to your right. And follow the mad tweets of Mike S at @CameTheBasement on Twitter.
An extended cut of this segment, along with our full interview with RKSS, drops on Sunday.
Stick with us!
