Stung, dead musicians and 10 Cloverfield Lane

Jason, Shawn and Amy are back for their first podcast of 2016! And they have filled it to the brim with the great taste of . . .

Wait, that's a coffee ad.

But this podcast IS fully loaded with all things entertainment, including the first official review From The Basement since the Basement Dwellers returned.

Firstly, the Terrible Trio has a final sound off on the movie event of the millennium -- Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That's right, there's still conversations to be had about the blockbuster, including a pow wow on the hateful drivel that pops up once the initial excitement for a movie dies down. How do Jason, Shawn and Amy fit into the mix? Stick with us!

Then it's time to put a movie on the chopping block, and that movie is Stung, the 2015 mutant wasp flick starring Jessica Cook, Matt O'Leary, Clifton Collins Jr. and Lance Henriksen. We know we had you at mutant wasp movie, but figured sharing the cast was a good idea too, especially given the genre chops of our friend Lance. Is Stung a great way for the bastards and bastardette to get back into the review game? Tune in and find out!

Lastly, the Basementites takes some time to lament-ish the loss of Lemmy, David Bowie and Glenn Frey. And of course Alan Rickman. Plus Cloverfield fans Amy and Jason drag Shawn kicking and screaming into the recent reveal of the 10 Cloverfield Lane preview.

And you can hear it all on the player below. So get on it!
