Zombeavers. The title says it all. Zombie beavers. Plus there's a boat load of sexual innuendo in there too. Think about it. But not for too long, because that defeats the point of a movie called Zombeavers. And how does that movie rate? Stick with me!
College friends find their weekend of sex and debauchery ruined when deadly zombie beavers (the animal kind) swarm their riverside cabin.
Zombeavers is one of the stupidest movies I've seen in a long time, which is what makes it so much damn fun. It's full of crude, cheap humour, the Zombeavers are, for the most part, puppets, and the idea itself is, well, silly.
But all these normally bad elements are intentional, and everything is played so razor straight that the audience I saw it with laughed their collective asses off from the first minute to the last. And we get boobies and some decent gore.
Did I mention this flick is fucking funny? Well, it is. Just in case I didn't.
The cast is full of unknowns, and they are quite good. They're in on the joke. Kudos especially to Peter Gilroy, who kinda steals the show, and Cortney Palm and her boobs, which are used to comedic effect. Yup.
This is a cult flick if ever there was one, and it's best enjoyed over several drinks with a crowd of like-minded people. It's Good, and merits multiple viewings when in the right frame of mind.
