The Drownsman delivers a creepy trailer

A month ago we showed you the way cool poster for Chad Archibald's intriguing horror flick The Drownsman. Now we take things up a notch and show you the way creepy trailer for the same.

Way cool. Way creepy. We're way into saying way in The Basement today. But I digress.

How about that shit!?! Looks like Archibald, who also co-wrote the flick, has come up with a new horror hero for fans to latch onto. It's been awhile since we've had one of those, so I'm game. The world needs another Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers.

The Drownsman stars Michelle Mylett as Madison, who finds herself bound to a life of fear after almost drowning in a lake. Unable to describe what happened to her during the moments she was underwater, Madison develops hydrophobia -- an abnormal fear of water. Crippled by her post trauma, Madison attempts to shut out the world around her, but her fear intensifies when she is haunted by visions of an evil figure.

No word yet on a release date, but we promise Basementites we're all over this mofo first chance we get.
