Lionsgate picks up Eduardo Sanchez Bigfoot flick Exists

A couple of weeks back we told you Eduardo Sanchez, co-director of The Blair Witch Project, had a new flick screening at SXSW, and that it's about the legendary Bigfoot.

Now we've heard the good word that Lionsgate has picked up the found-footage monster movie Exists for North American distribution.

No word yet about when the movie will hit theatre screens, or if it will go straight to the home market. But Lionsgate loves horror, and is known to give small films a chance on the big screen. Exists played to a sold-out crowd at SXSW, so they could have a potential hit on their hands.

Exists is about a group of friends vacationing at a cabin in East Texas who find themselves stalked by the legendary Bigfoot. Chris Osborn, Dora Madison Burge, Roger Edwards and Samuel Davis star.

We're gonna keep you updated on this one folks. Sounds like fun.
