The September Special: Crawlspace and an interview with a 13-year-old director

Fall is almost upon us and that can only mean one thing -- it's time for The Basement's annual September podcast special!

And this is a good one, not to say the others weren't.

First up: Jason and Shawn interview 13-year-old Emily DiPrimio (pictured), who co-wrote a slasher movie called Carver with her dad, Ron, and intends to direct the flick early next year!

The DiPrimios recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the $25,000 needed to get the movie made.

Suffice to say, Emily and Ron are horror fans after our own heart, and the 25-minute conversation is a must listen for film and 80s slasher enthusiasts!

Then the Basement Boys get down to business with the Australian sci-fi-action-horror movie Crawlspace, in which a special forces unit sent to infiltrate Pine Gap, Australia's top secret underground military compound, come under attack from unknown forces. Sound like fun? Stick with us!

The September Special lands tomorrow (Friday) morning by 8 a.m. pacific time.
