The Exorcist is without a doubt one of the best horror movies every made. Hands down. It kicks ass on most horror releases today, and it came out a whopping 40 years ago. Take that . . . someone!
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases a 40th anniversary Blu-ray of the film on Oct. 8 and this will be one to own. Why? Because it includes the original theatrical release AND the extended version issued some 13 years ago.
As a point of interest, Mike S and I checked out the extended cut when it hit theatres and the young audience was screaming. Screaming! The flick is still that effective.
Anywho, here's the cover art.
Naturally, there will be a slew of special features and I'm sure they'll be sexy. No matter. Consider this Blu-ray bought and paid for.
