Recently, we let you movie loving folks (especially you horror loving folks) about the upcoming DVD release of Sevé Schelenz's movie, "Skew"- which is pretty awesome, right? Well, we have MORE news from our good friend! He's starting work on a new movie, and has been kind enough to send us a poster and brief synopsis for it..
If this doesn't attract Basementites out to see this movie, I'm not altogether sure what would!
And not only that, but YOU can help be a part of making this movie! That's right- YOU!
How you wonder?
It's actually quite simple. Just go to the movie's page on "Kickstarter", and donate a bit of money. And that's it. There are also some rewards for donating various amounts. Check out the site for more information.
Help support the independent horror film industry by donating money to get films like this made- and by watching them when they ARE made.
You know we in the Basement will be seeing this when we can!
Sounds pretty awesome, eh? Hell, yeah- it does! I love the poster for this new foray into horror:"PEELERS takes place on the closing night of a small town strip club when a group of unwanted guests arrive and all hell breaks loose. Club owner and ex-ball player Blue Jean Douglas, is our sexy, confident, ass-kicking heroine who rises to the task of protecting both her girls and her bar from psychopathic infected killers who will stop at nothing to slaughter everyone. PEELERS destroys the cliché stripper horror sub-genre by giving us a story packed with strong characters, exciting twists and lots of blood. Oh, and did we mention strippers?"
