Live stream captures UFO on camera at Skinwalker Ranch

Do you remember when the History Channel was all about history, and not paranormal reality shows? Not that I have a huge problem with those. It's just an observation... Anyway, the History Channel recently had a 12-hour live stream from Skinwalker Ranch to promote a new series, The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, and it looks like they might have caught something on film. Here's the footage. The lights appear after the three-minute mark: Skinwalker Ranch is a UFO hotbed, and people believe it includes portals to other dimensions, and is home to mysterious creatures as well. The Utah location is also believed to be cursed by Navajos. The series premiered on History earlier this week. You can find out more about it right here . What do you think? Convinced those lights are a UFO? Given this is part of a TV promotion, I'm not. But it was something to watch for a few minutes. Source: History

Jason and Shawn versus Exit 727 and Skinwalker Ranch

Exit 727 Shawn : Well, it has a low budget, is poorly acted, based loosely on a true story. I didn't expect much, but I know they busted their asses on it, and I can really appreciate that. For Jason, there is a beautiful scene, where workers get their revenge on their boss. Something everyone wishes for. This reminded me of our home movies , except this one was well edited and the story wasn't filled with cheese. I dug it for a watch and hope Jason gets to see boss revenge. That is about the only play for this one. It is a Bad. A low Bad. Skinwalker Ranch Jason: What sets this flick apart from other found-footage movies is it's slickly made with not much shaky camera work AND it's based on the real Skinwalker Ranch. I was certainly more interested in the story being told because of its grounding in “reality.” Co-writer/director Devin McGinn made and starred in The Last Lovecraft , which we reviewed a couple of s...

Exit 727, Skinwalker Ranch and The Art of the Steal interview

Talk to a Basementite born in the 70s and 80s, or any movie geek worth his or her salt, and there's general agreement that Kurt Russell is the man. Think about it: Escape from New York , The Thing , Big Trouble in Little China , Tango and Cash and even later efforts like Breakdown and Executive Decision are either cult favourites or bonafide modern classics. So when word reached The Basement that Russell has a new movie coming out -- his first starring role since 2007's Death Proof -- Jason and Shawn took notice. And The Basement Boys are proud to present a 15-minute exclusive interview with the producer of The Art of the Steal, Nicholas Tabarrok. Nicholas talks The Art of the Steal, working with Kurt Russell and his all-star cast of co-stars, plus other genre flicks he has coming down the pike. It's a great interview, one of the best in Basement history. Plus Jason and Shawn put two films on the chopping block; the crime-thriller Exit 727 and the spooky foun...
