Having been a fan of Clayne Crawford's since his two-year run on Lethal Weapon, I've been keen to check out his latest project, the thriller The Killing of Two Lovers.
COVID put a pretty big monkey wrench in the film's release, or so it seems, after an acclaimed debut at Sundance earlier this year. But now we've got some news to share.
The Killing of Two Lovers has been picked up by Neon, and scheduled for release on Feb. 23, 2021. This make it eligible for awards season and, if the above trailer is any indication, the film should be a shoe-in for several.
Written and directed by Robert Machoian, the film stars Crawford, Sepideh Moafi and Chris Coy in what promises to be an honest, powerful and sometimes brutal portrayal of a marriage falling apart. Not our usual pint of ale here in The Basement, but one I know I'm curious to see.
