It's been 11 years since John Rambo last appeared on the big screen, and that flick was certainly the best the franchise, and character, had to offer.
A new and, according to Stallone, final Rambo film is headed our way later this year. Stallone let some images drop via his Instagram account yesterday, and they reveal characters he says are Rambo's adopted family in the film.
Included among them are shots of Yvette Monreal and Adriana Barraza. There's no action showcased in these pics, but fear not Rambo fans, I'm sure there's going to be plenty in the film.
Check out these pics:
As for the story: Last Blood sees the character cross the Mexican border to rescue a friend's daughter when she's kidnapped by a cartel. THAT is a story ripe for action.
Rambo V: Last Blood opens in late 2019.
