UPDATED! Marvel officially announced today (Thursday, Jan. 7) that Daredevil Season 2 will launch on Friday, March 18. That's one week before Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. And I will still pick it over the DC flick any day!
And now the original story:
The wait is over for fans of Marvel's Daredevil series on Netflix. Kinda. In the sense that we now know when Season 2 debuts on the streaming services.
And Marvel is showing some stones by releasing it against one of the year's most anticipated movies.
That's right, Daredevil's second season hits on Friday, March 25. This, of course, is when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theatres.
This pretty much sealed the deal for me. I'm gonna stay home and binge Daredevil that weekend instead of checking out the sequel to Man of Steel. So far, nothing has sold me on Batman V Superman -- Amy's constant harassment about me not wanting to see it aside -- and the fact I get to catch up with The Man Without Fear cements the fact it'll be a week or two before I even bother going.
Daredevil Season 2 introduces fan favourites The Punisher and Elektra, and will bring back Scott Glenn's perfect characterization of Stick, Daredevil's mentor. 'Nuff said, as Stan Lee would say.
What say you, Basementites? You going to check out Batman V Superman? Or are you staying home for Daredevil?

I will wait for BvS to come out on VHS before watching it. I'll stick with Matthew Michael Murdoch.
