Who here in The Basement is excited to see Wolf Cop? I'm hoping everyone put up his or her hand, because it's a movie about a werewolf that's a cop. And that's cool.
Wolf Cop is also a Canadian, independent-film success story. I never realized how much so until viewing the below featurette about writer/director Lowell Dean's action/horror/comedy. Suffice to say, it made me want to watch this flick even more.

Yup, this is a must see. Plus feast your eye holes on this awesome poster, which is a total throwback to the awesome movie posters of yesteryear, as in my youth.
It's not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar, Lou's senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he's a rage-fuelled werewolf.
Wolf Cop opens June 6. We intend to review it soon after.
