I haven't bothered with The Simpsons for the better part of a decade. Loved the show during it's opening 10 seasons but, as the series heads into Season 25, it's hard to give a damn.
One of the shining lights of the seemingly never-ending program are the annual Halloween-themed Treehouse of Horror episodes. And this season's Treehouse opening titles were directed by none other than legendary genre director Guillermo del Toro.
Now, we're cheating here, but we've provided the opener below so you, like I, don't have to actually watch the episode. If you are a fan, you're going to watch anyway. Hey, sue us.

As for the rest of the special, Homer
travels around Springfield wreaking havoc in a rhyming take on a popular
children's tale, Bart is beheaded during a
kite accident, his head is attached to Lisa's body and they must live
together as one, and circus freak Moe makes
advances towards Marge.
The episode airs Sunday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
