Screenwriter Harrison Smith , who penned Corey Feldman 's horror romp -- and our Month from Hell selection -- 6 Degrees of Hell and the crackerjack thriller The Fields is at it again. This time Smith does double duty as writer and director of the slasher flick Camp Dread.

Actually, this teaser trailer for Wolfcop does offer a laugh or two, be it intentional or otherwise. Indie writer/director Lowell Dean seems to have struck a nice balance between graphic horror and camp. One can only hope the final product is as cheesy fun as the preview alludes too. It’s not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou’s senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he’s a rage-fueled werewolf. Only gripe is the werewolf makeup is a little weak. Otherwise, A-OK by me, Lowell!
