The wait is over! The Pale Faced Lady has returned! Above is the beautiful -- in a horror-movie sense -- thing that is Jeff Payne's third chapter in his Pale Faced Lady saga, In Darkness I wait. And as you've just realized, it's a great piece of work from a talented filmmaker. Didn't watch it yet? Shame! But we'll give you 24 minutes to do so right now... And we are back. Jeff really upped his game with this one, going for a full and spooky narrative, matching that with some haunting visuals (mannequin with a bunny head? Yup, that got me!) and decent performances from his actors. Not to mention that ending! In Darkness I Wait is the real deal, and the perfect way to launch the countdown to Halloween.  Five weeks and two days to go, by the way! Kudos to Jeff, stars Hannah Swayze and Stan Love, and the rest of his cast and crew. This is a great piece of work, and I can't wait to see what all y'all get up to next! A Pale Faced Lady movie would be nice... Source...

Comin' at yah, From The Basement has an exclusive treat for Basement Dwellers and horror fans everywhere... the first official reveal of Jeff Payne's spooky follow up to his hit short film, The Pale Faced Lady! We highlighted the first film back in March , and people really liked what Jeff did narratively and visually with this creepy little ghost story. And Shawn and I dug it as well . The fact Jeff is hitting us with a follow up so quickly is proof there is a Cinematic God.

The Basement Boys are back in town, and they're ready to pleasure your ear holes with a Triple Threat of reviews, and all the entertainment news you need to plan your viewing for the week ahead. That's right, we worked one of the flicks on the chopping block this episode into the last sentence. Pretty cool, yes? Oui!

You gotta love a good ghost story. There's no question about it. And we have a particularly spooky one for Basement Dwellers on this cool Wednesday morn. By way of writter/director/editor Jeff Payne, who created the Internet sensation Michael vs Jason a few years back, this is a nightmarish ghost story based on a dream Payne had. The plot is simple: a ghostly woman shows up and, the more the narrator tries to ignore her, the closer -- and more menacing -- the spirit gets.
