'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through The Basement, a creature is stirring... And that "creature" is a little bit of time off before Shawn and I get back doing what we do best, talking trash about all things entertainment! But before we settle in for our long winter's nap, we wanted to wish our family, friends and fans a Merry Christmas, and all the best for the holiday season. We've had a great 2019, one that saw us realize our goal of becoming a prime-time radio show. And we couldn't of done it without the support of each and every one of you. We hope this Christmas is the best one yet for Basement Dwellers everywhere!! But don't fret, we're back on the mighty Radio NL 610 AM Kamloops this Friday night at 6:05, and we're interviewing Anna Stromberg and Burt Grinstead about their new movie The Lost Footage of Leah Sullivan! It'll be the ultimate cure for that Christmas hangover. Until then, stay safe, Happy Holidays, and ...

Well, it's actually from Fear.net, but the video below features everyone's favourite Halloween mascot Sam from Michael Dougherty's brilliant Trick r Treat. I don't want to spoil things, but the video -- entitled Happy Holidays -- features everything we've been bred to love about Christmas: snow, snowmen and children having a joyful good time with everything Basementites have grown to love about Halloween: murder, mayhem and a morbid sense of humour. But enough of my idle chatter. Have yourself a merry little Christmas the Halloween way! Cheers to Arrow in the Head for digging up the video.
