By now it should be no secret that we're big Brooke Lewis fans here in The Basement. So when word reaches us that our favourite award-winning scream queen has a new flick coming out, we're all over it! This time Brooke teams up with Eric Stoltz and former Jason Voorhees Kane Hooder in the new horror/comedy Bristled: The Howl Chronicles. Fleur De Lis Film Studios, an official exhibitor at the American Film Market 2012, announced the project today as part of its slate of upcoming film and TV projects. Now in pre-production, Bristled follows John Howl, a young Los Angeles Police Detective out to find the killer of a young film star. As the charming but angst-ridden officer dives deeper into the case he realizes Hollywood is a totally different world than the one he lives in -- not that it’s any more weird, after all he’s a werewolf by night!
